About Dr. Renier

Dr. James Renier, DPM joined the St. Cloud Foot & Ankle team in 2021.

He is a graduate of St. Johns’ University in Collegeville, MN, with a major in biology/pre-medicine. He completed medical school at the Des Moines University College of podiatric medicine and surgery. Dr. Renier completed an extensive and rigorous residency in foot and ankle surgery and reconstruction at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Renier is a fellow and diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

His practice includes the management of a wide variety of non-surgical and surgical foot and ankle disorders and deformities, including but not limited to: Achilles tendon repair, total ankle replacement, ankle fractures, flat foot reconstruction, ankle sprains, bunions, and foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Renier will listen to your concerns and work with you to determine the best plan of care.

Dr. Renier is an active member of his community and, in his free time, enjoys biking with the House of Pizza bike group, running, water skiing, and spending time with his wife Mollie. He spends time training his Golden Retriever Doug for pheasant, duck, and goose hunting with friends and family. He and Mollie frequently enjoy attending SJU football games!
